Homework Isn’t A Ghost

            " Resolve to study and work harder and intelligently. Until the result that is obtained is greater than the energy expended." ( Setia Furqon K, in the book " Jangan Kuliah! Kalau Gak Sukses “).

            Homework!  The word may make students feel lazy even surprised to hear it. There is also to complain and say, "That isn’t important ", " Oh my god ...... It is interrupting  my day off." It is reasonable for that experience to happen to  most students, especially if they have more than one homework and those works have a same deadline. Maybe they will say, " Oh my god,  my job an awful lot. It's boring ".

            However, we should not forget those students who are still paying attention to homework. Pay attention here means, they still have willingness to do the homework and the underline that homework is important for students.  (Rarely students think about that)

            In conclusion, we recommend that students do not need to confuse two distinct view points. The first opinion is fair, but it has a negative impact. Actually, the students are able to work and complete homework. However, from the beginning, they think that homework is a ghost. It frightens us and it is harmful. The paradigm makes them surrender and complain before they do their homework.

            How about a second opinion? The second opinion is hard to do, but will ultimately have a positive impact. Why? Have you ever pondered if the actual homework that can help us? 

            Actually,the homework will help us to learn. The teachers also have some reasons why  they give a lot of homework to the students. These reasons are:

1)      With the homework, the students will be keen to learn, especially for students who rarely study will be encouraged to learn.

2)      They will understand the lessons before others do, because they are trying to learn by doing homework.

3)      Students may discuss with their classmates to solve problems (homework).

4)      Finally, with homework, bad grades can be helped. This usually helps the students because from the homework, the teacher knows that students  are still trying to learn and solve some questions. 

So, is homework harmful or helpful ? Do not think that homework is dangerous!
